Outdoor Venture is a privately owned company incorporated in June 2005. Its core business is in the distribution and retailing of technically advanced sports and outdoor apparel, equipment and footwear. Outdoor Venture aims to expand its distribution and retail network in Singapore by collaboratingwith brand owners to achieve mutually beneficial business relationships.

About Walter Tan
Walter is the owner and general manager of Outdoor Venture Pte Ltd. Walter is an avid sports enthusiast who is as comfortable negotiating business deals in the boardroom, as he is trail running in Singapore’s nature reserves. Besides running, Walter is also an active adventure racer, mountain biker and triathlete.

Before setting up Outdoor Venture, Walter co-founded Seager Inc. Pte Ltd and headed its sales, marketing, merchandising and retail divisions. Seager Inc. is a Singapore based company that distributes a number of internationally recognized labels in the travel, outdoor and fashion accessories market, including Victorinox, Timberland, Mandarina Duck, Tatonka,
Vaude, Ex-Officio and Bridgedale. Seager Inc. also operates the award-winning travel stores, The Planet Traveller, and a chain of fashion accessories stores called The Wallet Shop.
